Dat was extra passend, want 2026 werd uitgeroepen tot het <em>Jaar van de vrijwilliger voor duurzame ontwikkeling<\/em> \u2014 een titel die perfect aansluit bij de inzet van de IDM-vrijwilligers. Bovendien viel de activiteit samen met complimentendag.<\/p><h3>Bijna 1.000 ge\u00ebngageerde vrijwilligers<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">IDM kan rekenen op de steun van bijna 1.000 vrijwilligers die zich op verschillende manieren inzetten voor een duurzamere regio:<\/p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Demo\u2019s en evenementen:<\/strong> 15 kringloopkrachten geven demonstraties en uitleg over thuiscomposteren, voedselverlies en het correct sorteren van GFT.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Repair Caf\u00e9s:<\/strong> 51 herstellers en medewerkers staan \u00e9\u00e9n of meerdere keren per jaar klaar om kapotte spullen een tweede leven te geven. In het voorbije jaar werden zo 239 toestellen hersteld.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Gratis advies aan huis:<\/strong> 6 kringloopkrachten gingen vorig jaar 18 keer langs bij inwoners en scholen om tips te geven over klimaatbestendig tuinieren.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Zwerfvuilvrijwilligers:<\/strong> iets meer dan 800 Propere Pioniers houden op een zelfgekozen moment hun buurt proper.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Bart de Banaan-workshops:<\/strong> 4 lesgevers gaven vorig jaar 17 workshops rond voedselverlies aan 325 leerlingen uit het vijfde en zesde leerjaar.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>Wandeling in Molsbroek<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Alle vrijwilligers werden zondagmorgen uitgenodigd voor een gezellige ontmoetingsvoormiddag. Het programma startte met een begeleide wandeling in het natuurreservaat Molsbroek. Onder leiding van ervaren gidsen ontdekten de deelnemers meer over de fauna en flora, en over het ontstaan van het landschap.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">De wandeling bood ruimte voor boeiende weetjes, fijne gesprekken en een moment van verbondenheid tussen de vele ge\u00ebngageerde vrijwilligers.<\/p><h3>Dankwoord en lunch<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">De voormiddag werd feestelijk afgesloten met een dankwoord van de voorzitter en een hartige lunch op de IDM-site \u2014 een welverdiende blijk van waardering voor iedereen die zich het voorbije jaar heeft ingezet.<\/p><div contenteditable=\"false\"><hr \/><\/div><h3>Ook Propere Pionier worden?<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Wil jij mee je straat of buurt proper houden?
